The wild mustard is in full bloom for Mariani Winery's annual Mustard Festival, to be held Feb. 17-19 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Activities will include tastings of new releases and gourmet mustards, vineyard tours, pruning demonstrations and live music by Steve Kritzer on Sunday and Mike Northcutt on Monday. Something Special Catering will provide gourmet foods for purchase. Admission is $6 per person and includes a wine glass and six taste tickets. Parking is limited, so carpooling is encouraged. Pets and non-Mariani alcohol are not allowed. The winery is located at 23600 Congress Springs Road, south of Saratoga Village, off Highway 9. For more information, call 741-2930.
