San Jose wasn't much of a match for West Valley the first time the two community college basketball teams met this winter.
But that was the first time around, and that was on West Valley Community College's home floor in Saratoga.
The second time around the Vikings will be in San Jose's house. And the Jaguars are looking for much different results.
San Jose City College will host West Valley on Feb. 7, 7 p.m., in a key Coast Conference game. The Vikings are 6-0 in the conference, and the Jags need a victory to get back into the title race.
West Valley won by more than 20 in front of a capacity crowd the first time through the conference schedule. And a packed house is expected at San Jose's Moorpark Avenue home when the clubs, both ranked among the state's top five, meet again.
The Vikings will have their work cut out for them, hoping to stop talented sophomore Torraye Braggs. Braggs, a 6-foot-8, 230-pounder who was the co-most valuable player in the Coast Conference a year ago, went for 23 points in a recent win over Ohlone.
West Valley is coming off of an impressive 88-72 win over Foothill.
Sophomore stars Bennett Davison and Andy Newman led the Vikings to the victory.
