Two men abducted at gunpoint on road

Two men were unloading their truck on Highway 9 when they were held at gunpoint and then abducted at 10 p.m. on Feb. 3.

One of the abductors, pointing a gun at them, told them they "couldn't do anything or go anywhere," according to a sheriff's report.

The two abductors forcibly took the victims to the abductors' house. One of the victims was told he would be killed and buried on the property. He was also told that if he went to the police, his mother's house would be burned down, according to reports. The abductor then tried to throw the victim into the fireplace where there was a fire.

After some time had passed the victims were released by their abductors.

The case is currently under investigation by the Santa Clara County Sheriff's Department and other agencies, Sgt. Earl Pennington said.
