Sheriff's Report
Drunk in Public-- Feb. 9, 11:33 p.m., on Beauchamps Lane. An officer was dispatched on a report of a subject knocking on the door of a residence. The officer arrived and contacted the suspect, who wore no shirt and one shoe. He smelled strongly of alcohol, his speech was slurred and he needed two deputies to help him walk to the patrol car. Due to his intoxication, he was a danger to himself and others. The officer arrested him for public drunkenness, took him to the main jail and booked him.
Stolen Vehicle-- Feb. 8, 8 p.m., on Big Basin Way. The victim loaned his car to an acquaintance on Jan. 2 at about 11 a.m. She was to use the car to move from her apartment. The victim later called several people about the suspect's whereabouts, but had no success. The victim has no current address or phone number for the suspect.
Residential Burglary (Women's Underwear)-- Feb. 8, 8:30 a.m., on Vineyard Lane. Because the victim's home was burglarized on Feb. 6, she left to stay with friends at about 6 p.m. She asked her neighbor to check on her place at about 8 a.m. the next day. The neighbor called back and said there was a pile of underwear on her doorstep. After the victim called the sheriff's office, the officer found her door cracked open and a pile of her underwear in front of the door.
