    Sheriff's Report

    Attempted Burglary--Feb. 11, 2:20 a.m. on Herriman Avenue. The officer responded to the school on an alarm call and found a broken office window on the southeast corner of the administration building. When canines entered, they did not find any suspect(s).

    Petty Theft From a Vehicle--Feb. 10, 3:50 p.m. on Purdue Drive. The victim said she parked her car in her driveway and left it unlocked on Feb. 8, at 10 p.m. The next morning at 6, she returned to her car and noticed that numerous items had been moved and searched through. She also noticed that sunglasses, lipstick and credit card receipts were missing. She and her neighbor across the street did not see or hear any suspects. The officer found no fingerprints at the point of entry/exit.

    Grand Theft--Feb. 9, 1 p.m. on Big Basin Way. The reporting party said that his girlfriend's $15,000 watch was stolen from a lodge.

    Found Property (Keys)--Feb. 8, 4:35 p.m. on Cox Avenue. An unknown pedestrian stopped at the fire station and reported seeing a set of keys to a vehicle laying on the Highway 85 overpass. The officer found the keys and looked around for possible disabled vehicles in the area, but didn't find any, and submitted the keys into the property room at the substation.
