Transportation Agency appoints new officers

The Santa Clara County Transportation Agency appointed Annette Rodriques, Michelle Poche and James Peterson to staff positions during the month of January.

Rodriques was appointed to the position of training and organization development manager. She comes to the agency after 27 years with NASA.

Peterson has assumed his new position as marketing manager after five years with the agency. He most recently served as a public communications specialist before accepting his new job.

Former CCC workers invited to reunion

The California Conservation Corps is now making plans for its 20th anniversary and would like to invite former participants to attend.

"The CCC has former corps members who have worked in hundreds of different kinds of jobs in the public and private sector," said Al Aramburu, state director of the CCC.

Aramburu said occupations of former CCC participants have ranged from park rangers and firefighters to teachers, landscapers, police officers, restaurant chefs, a stockbroker and a City Council member.

The CCC will celebrate its 20th anniversary in July. To contact the CCC, write the Public Information Office, California Conservation Corps, 1530 Capitol Ave., Sacramento, 95814, or call (916) 445-6819.
