Sheriff's Report

Auto accident--12:35 p.m., Feb. 17, at Saratoga Avenue and Scotland Drive. Police responded to an accident in which two cars had collided and turned over. None of the six involved suffered severe injuries. Deputy Steve Guisenti reported that passersby drove through the section of Scotland blocked off by police.

Drug Possession--3:37 a.m., Feb. 10, at Saratoga Avenue and Prospect Road. Police responded to a call from a passerby who reported that he saw a man looking into parked cars. When police found a suspect matching the description, they searched him and found drugs, paraphernalia and burglary utilities.

Attempted burglary--6 p.m., Feb. 9, at Pontiac Avenue and Saratoga Hills. Police responded to a call from a man who had parked his car for a party and upon returning found his gas filler tube to be tampered with. Police determined that it was the result of an attempted break-in.

Burglary--12:15 p.m., Feb 8, on Titus Avenue. Deputies responded to a report from McAuliffe Elementary School that two computers, worth $1,700, were stolen.

Attempted burglary--8:30 a.m., Feb. 8, on Sobey Road. Deputies responded to a call from a man who reported that one of his windows was broken. It was determined that an attempted burglary had taken place.
