The Los Gatos-Saratoga chapter of the American Association of University Women will hold one of its annual fundraisers, its Chinese New Year Dinner, on Feb. 28 at Hung Fu Restaurant, located at 20588 Stevens Creek Blvd. in Cupertino.
Proceeds from the event enable the chapter to support women continuing their education at Saratoga's West Valley College in mathematics or science-related fields. Connie Young Yu, author of Chinatown San Jose, USA, is this year's guest speaker.
Cost is $34 per person. A social hour begins at 6 p.m., with dinner at 7 p.m. For information or reservations, call Margaret Ford at 408.867.9014.
