    Sheriff's Report

    Residential Burglary--Feb. 19, 5:58 p.m. on McCoy Drive. After having been gone for almost three hours, the victim and his family returned to their residence to find the kitchen window smashed out, muddy footprints leading to the master bedroom closet and cash, jewelry and a 35 mm camera missing. Neighbors did not see or hear any suspects, and deputies did not find any identifiable fingerprints at the point of entry. Although the perimeter alarm system was on, the suspect(s) did not activate it.

    Found Bicycle--Feb. 19, 8 a.m. on Saratoga Avenue. An unknown person dropped off a bike at the Substation that had a "free bike" sign posted on it.

    Assault With a Deadly Weapon--Feb. 18, 10:20 p.m. on Oak Place. The victims were walking on the east side of the street when a car raced toward them. They jumped to the side of the road to avoid being hit, but the vehicle raced past them and came back at them. The occupants of the vehicle are at large.
