Commissioners discuss cellular, PCS antennas

Assembly candidate: Ray Strong

    Sheriff's Report

Petty Theft--Feb. 23, 12:05 p.m. on Via Arriba Drive. A resident reported several items worth $250 missing from her home. She gave sheriff's deputies suspect information.

Grand Theft--Feb. 21, 9:50 a.m. on Blauer Drive. A political committee posted approximately 200 pro-Proposition 22 signs on the perimeter of the Argonaut Shopping center with the permission of the property owner. The next morning the signs were gone.

Road Rage--Feb. 18, 11:33 p.m. on Highway 85, Saratoga offramp. A man driving a Ford Mustang admitted he purposely cut off a group of four motorcyclists because they had angered him. The motorcyclists followed the man onto the Saratoga offramp and surrounded his car at the stoplight. The motorcyclists began yelling at the man, who drove his car into one of the motorcycles in retaliation, knocking its rider to the ground. Two of the motorcyclists then reached into the car and punched the man, causing injury.

Possession of a Stimulant--Feb. 18, 6:01 p.m. on Big Basin Way. A sheriff's deputy who stopped a vehicle for a cracked windshield discovered the driver had a suspended license. A search of the vehicle turned up a cigarette box containing one gram of a stimulant. A further search using a canine revealed an additional 0.8 grams of a stimulant. The driver was arrested and taken to the main jail.
