    Remembering 'Our Town'

Dina Donofrio works on a mural on the outside wall of Saratoga High School's Little Theater. The mural, conceived and sketched by Doug Leverich and Jim VanOver, is meant to show what goes on behind the stage at a theatrical production, in this case, the Little Theater's first-ever production, 'Our Town.' Before the sketch for the mural was complete, Leverich learned that he had non-Hodgkins lymphoma; he completed the sketch knowing he would not be alive to see the mural completed. He was a freshman when he participated in the play, and in the mural, he will be shown as a graying figure; Leverich will also be represented as an unfinished figure watching the activity from the bottom right-hand side of the mural. Bill Vujevich was commissioned to serve as general manager of the project, which is privately funded.
