Dean's List Students

Heather S. Carter and Erik D. Schraga, both of Saratoga, were named to the Dean's List at Emory University in Atlanta for the 1996 fall semester. Heather is the daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Robert K. Carter, and Erik is the son of Robin L. Atherton.

Ann S. Birenbaum, daughter of Lazar and Janelle Birenbaum of Saratoga, was named to the Dean's List for outstanding academic achievement during the fall semester at Colby College in Waterville, Maine.

Jeremy W. Krall, son of Gary W. Krall of Saratoga, has qualified for the Dean's List at Babson College in Babson Park, Mass.

A Semester at Sea

Cheryl Colman, daughter of John and Cheryl Colman of Saratoga, is spending spring semester at sea, aboard the S.S. Universe Explorer, a ship that has been equipped as a floating university. She will travel from Nassau, Bahamas, to Seattle, Wash., as part of the Institute for Shipboard Education, based at the University of Pittsburgh. She is a sophomore at the University of Arizona, majoring in communication.

Who's Who

Saratogan Colleen Haggerty is among 18 San Jose State University students who have been included in the 1997 edition of Who's Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges. She is majoring in civil engineering.

Honors Student

Alison Young of Saratoga has been admitted to the freshman honors program at the University of the Pacific. The honors program offers students a variety of social and academic events, as well as the option of living in an honors residence hall.
