Saratoga High students performing in 'Barnum', the school's annual spring musical for 2002, rest between rehearsals. The students will perform the musical, based on the life of circus promoter P. T. Barnum, on March 7 at 7:30 p.m., March 8 at 8 p.m. and March 9 at 2 p.m. and 8 p.m. This year, instead of performing at Los Gatos High School, the students are performing in a circus tent pitched on Saratoga High School's front lawn, on the corner of Herriman Drive and Saratoga-Sunnyvale Road. Not only do those involved in the production hope to create an authentic, circus-like atmosphere, but they also hope to draw support for the Saratoga High School Foundation's drive to raise money to build a performing arts and lecture center on the campus. Tickets for reserved seats are $15 for adults and $13 for students. General admission tickets are $12 for adults and $9 for students. For tickets, call the high school activities office at 408.867.3411, ext. 203.
