Assault and battery--Feb. 18, 5:05 p.m. at Oak Street and Saratoga-Los Gatos Road. The victim said he was conducting a church service when a group of people began making a disturbance at the rear of the building. As he walked to the back to address the group, someone yelled, "You're a phony, a false prophet." The victim was then punched and kicked by two men. The two suspects were pushed out of the building by other members of the church.
Burglary--Feb. 20, between 3 and 6 p.m. at Saratoga-Sunnyvale and Prospect roads. A Panasonic CD player was removed from a locked car. There was no apparent forced entry.
Breaking and entering--between Feb. 2 and Feb. 10 on Aspesi Drive. The door at the back of a house had been forced open; nothing was taken.
