The city of Saratoga needs volunteers for several positions, including computer wizard, code enforcement intern, public relations assistant and youth services assistant.
The computer wizard will develop programs for the finance department. He or she must be proficient in the Lotus and Paradox programs. The job calls for a two-month commitment, with flexible hours.
The code enforcement internship, a good opportunity for administration of justice majors, involves learning code enforcement while obtaining field experience. Applicants must be physically fit. The hours are flexible.
The public relations assistant will help develop an information brochure and packet for Saratoga businesses. This position also offers flexible hours.
Saratoga's youth services assistant will assist in putting together a list of resources and activities for youth. These hours are also flexible.
