    Sheriff's Report

Vandalism--Feb. 26, 9:55 a.m. on Allendale Avenue. An unknown suspect drove a vehicle onto the 100-yard by 50-yard field behind a church and caused extensive damage to the lawn. This is the second reported case of vandalism to the lawn.

Evading Peace Officer--Feb. 26, 12 a.m. on Prospect Road. The officer tried to stop the suspect for running a red light by activating his emergency equipment. After two minutes, the officer stopped the suspect and arrested him for evading a peace officer.

Grand Theft of Tools--Feb. 22, 11 a.m. on Spaich Court. The week before, a sheet metal worker set his bags, which contained about $900 worth of tools, down in front of a home under construction. He left, and when he returned, the bags were gone. He thought that a co-worker might have locked them up for the weekend. But when he talked to his co-workers the next day, they said they hadn't seen them. He waited for a week, hoping the tools would show up, but they never did.
