Montalvo Service Group board elects new officers
The new officers of the Montalvo Service Group board held their first meeting in January. The board officers, members and committee chairpeople are responsible for planning many activities that help maintain Villa Montalvo in Saratoga. They also support art experiences and activities in the community. Among the group's annual fundraisers and other projects are Mother's and Father's Day brunches, summer luncheons on the veranda, Yuletide at Montalvo, docentship at the Gallery at Montalvo and supervision of school groups on field trips.
Taking their seats are Dianne Sloan, president; Mary Anne Leach, first vice president, ways and means; Connie Roberts, second vice president, membership; Doris Martinez, third vice president, publicity; Nancy Leasia, recording secretary; Linda Cole, corresponding secretary; and Martha Swartz, treasurer. All the women are Saratoga residents, except for Cole and Martinez, who live in San Jose.
