Bruce and Susan Worster of Saratoga announce the engagement of their daughter, Sara Elizabeth, to Brian Robert Elkin, son of Robert and Angelina Elkin of San Diego.

The bride-to-be is a graduate of Lynbrook High School and Wellesley College. She is a marketing specialist with 3Com Corporation in Santa Clara.

Her fiancé is a graduate of Crawford High School in San Diego and UC-Davis. He is a software developer with Arriba Corporation in Sunnyvale.

They plan an August wedding.

Bean, Shevock

Kenneth and Carol Shevock of Saratoga announce the engagement of their daughter, Karen Ann, to Aaron J. Bean, son of Priscilla Pool of Saratoga and James R. Bean of Boise, Idaho.

The bride-to-be is a graduate of Saratoga High School and California State University, Fresno. She is a human resources specialist with U.S. Web Corporation.

Her fiancé is a graduate of Saratoga High School and the University of Southern California. He is a human resources manager with Ridge Technologies.

They plan a September wedding.
