Sheriff's Report
Petty Theft--Mar. 4, 5:40 p.m. on Herriman Avenue. A construction worker said that the unknown suspect(s) stole his jacket and watch from one of the trailers on the job site.
Residential Burglary--Mar. 2, 4:15 p.m. on Quito Road. The unknown suspect(s) entered the victim's home through an unlocked window and "ransacked" two rooms, but took little property.
Petty Theft--Mar. 2, 11:15 a.m. on Prospect Road. The reporting party said that three unknown suspects entered the store through the front window and walked to the video section. They removed the wrappers from three videos, including The Nutty Professor Two, and left the store with the videos. The reporting party valued the property taken at $61. He tried to write down the suspects' license plate number, but was unable to.
Vandalism with BB Gun--Mar. 2, 10:15 a.m. on Saratoga-Sunnyvale Road. The victim said that he closed his store the evening before at 8:30. The next morning at about 9:30, one of his employees noticed several BB gun holes in many of the windows. The victim estimated the damage to be $4,000.
More Vandalism with BB Gun--Mar. 1, 8 p.m. on Kosich Drive. This time, an unknown suspect used a BB gun to shoot a kitchen window.
Battery/Abuse of Elder--Mar. 1, 2:50 p.m. on Via Escuella Drive. A woman's granddaughter has been in contact with Adult Protective Services to help her. When the granddaughter went to the grandmother's home to tell her that Social Services would come talk with her, the grandmother got angry and hit her granddaughter in the face with her fist, knocking her glasses off. The granddaughter bent over to pick up the glasses, and the grandmother hit her on the back. The granddaughter pushed the grandmother away, went to a nearby park and called 911 from a pay phone.
