Coach helps Saratoga 'kick off' season

San Francisco 49ers football coach Steve Mariucci was on hand to help the Saratoga Little League "kick off" its 1998 season by throwing out the ceremonial first pitch during official opening day ceremonies on March 14. Mariucci was certainly a welcome guest in the Saratoga crowd, especially among the players. David Cappello, 5, of the t-ball Pirates can't seem to believe he's getting the chance to shake Mariucci's hand as his father and coach, Manny Cappello, looks on.
