West Valley Light Opera presents 'Nunsense II'

The West Valley Light Opera Association will open its second production of the 1995-96 season with Nunsense II, the musical that picks up where Nunsense left off. Performances begin March 23 at 8 p.m. and run weekends through April 27 at the Saratoga Civic Theater, 13777 Fruitvale Ave.

Dan Goggin wrote the music, lyrics and book for this musical comedy, which focuses on the activities of five nuns who put on a benefit for the Little Sisters of Hoboken.

Tino Cecilio is the director, assisted by music director Fay Pettner and choreographer Nancy Kwong. Donna Stuefloten and Edward Hand are the producers.

For reservations, call the box office at 268-3777.

Following the close of Nunsense II, the West Valley Light Opera Association will finish its season with Annie Get Your Gun.
