    Hakone welcomes a special guest

Former Japanese Prime Minister Mohiro Hosokawa and Midori Hirano, who accompanied her father, Japanese architect Kyoshi Yasui, move on to the Tea Room where they participated in the Tea Ceremony. Some 130 guests attended the event at the Hakone Gardens on March 20. The Tea Ceremony was followed by a champagne reception. Lord Hosokawa talked with those in attendance about Japanese culture. That evening he dined with a group of Silicon Valley executives.
