Characters come alive

Brittany George (Becky Thatcher), Scott Cruikshank (Tom Sawyer), Kevin Mellis (Toby) and Philip Spencer (Huck Finn) turn Saratoga into Hannibal, Mo., in the Saratoga Children's Festival Theatre adaptation of Mark Twain's classic 'Tom Sawyer.' The second weekend of performances takes place March 27 at 5 and 8 p.m. and March 28 at 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. at the Saratoga Community Center, 13777 Fruitvale Ave. For information, call 868-1248.
