Assault with a deadly weapon--March 14 at 6:30 p.m. on Sara View Court. Someone was playing in the cul-de-sac in front of his home when a gray vehicle turned onto the roadway and accelerated toward him as he ran home.
Residential burglary--March 13 between 8:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. on Pierce Road. The suspect kicked open the lower wood panel to the side door and searched each room, removing property.
Residential burglary--between March 12 at 8:30 a.m. and March 14 at 8 p.m. on Monte Wood Drive. An unknown burglar or burglars entered an unlocked home and removed coins and jewelry.
Possession of cocaine, under the influence--March 18 at 6:30 a.m. on Chateau Drive. A man reportedly convulsed in the bathroom after injecting cocaine intravenously; 911 was called.
Attempted burglary--March 17 between 1:18 a.m. and 1:29 a.m. on Marilyn Lane. Atlas Security responded to an intrusion alarm at Marshall Lane School. They found a broken window and called the police. It is unknown if anything is missing.
Attempted burglary--March 18 at 9:20 p.m. on Argonne Drive. A suspect pried the shower window to gain entry while the victim was in the shower.
Assault on an officer, with injuries--March 11 at 1:35 p.m. on Prospect Road. A deputy working security in plain clothes at Prospect High School observed the suspect get off a bus in front of the school and walk away. The suspect refused to say whether he was a Prospect student. The deputy tried to stop the suspect from walking away and the suspect hit him.
Grand theft--March 9 at 10:30 a.m. on Big Basin Way. Someone entered a store and asked to see several items of jewelry. When the owner was not looking, the suspect removed jewelry.
Residential burglary--between Feb. 15 at noon and Feb.18 at 3 p.m. on Bellgrove Circle. An unknown burglar entered a home through an unlocked door and removed a video camera. The event was not reported until one month later.
Residential burglary--between March 7 at 10 p.m. and March 8 at 6 p.m. on Devon Avenue. An unknown burglar entered a garage through an unlocked door and removed a mountain bike and three tool boxes.
Passing fictitious checks--Feb. 23 on Oak Street. The suspect wrote two checks on an account that didn't exist in an attempt to defraud the victim of rent on property the victim owned.
