The Santa Clara County Traffic Authority held a tree-planting ceremony March 8 in Saratoga to mark the start of landscaping along the Highway 85 corridor. The $5.7 million landscaping project will include trees and shrubs such as redwoods, cedars, Boston ivy and trumpet vines. Assemblyman Jim Cunneen helps Gillian Moran, vice mayor of Saratoga, plant a tree.
