Clyde Haines
Saratoga resident Clyde LeRoy Haines died on Jan. 30, at the age of 84.
Born Jan. 13, 1917, in Foster, Wash., Haines grew up in Tacoma. He worked for 35 years as a buyer with Webbs Photo Stores.
Haines is survived by his wife of 60 years, Lorraine Haines.
At Haines' request, no services were held. Interment is at Mountain View Memorial Park in Tacoma.

Richard Upton
Saratoga resident Richard Ward Upton died Feb. 5, of liver disease at the age of 46.
Upton was born March 18, 1955, in Saratoga. He did general fix-it work, bicycle repair and gardening. He also enjoyed baseball, music and playing the guitar.
Survivors include mother Virginia Upton of Saratoga; brothers Terry Upton of Fort Bragg and Ron Upton of Saratoga; sisters Karol Ann Upton of Saratoga and Linda Upton of England; and nephew Gareth Upton of England.
Memorial services have been held.
