    Colonial times return

Fifth-grade students at Saratoga School donned colonial attire on March 6, and spent a full day re-creating life in colonial times. In the first half of the day the students held a colonial fair, where they made candles and played colonial games. Later, they re-created parts of the Revolutionary War, with students representing historical figures such as Patrick Henry and Benjamin Franklin. The day's events tied in with the fifth-grade social studies curriculum.
