Saratoga NewsSheriff's ReportResidential Burglary--March 17, 6:45 p.m., on Paul Street. Suspects entered an unlocked garage through the side door and removed tools valued at $180 and a bicycle. The victims were home but did not hear or see any suspects. There were no other witnesses, and no fingerprints were found. Grand Theft--March 17, between 4:40 p.m. and 9 a.m., on Fourth Street. An unknown suspect entered the victim's unlocked car in the carport. The suspect removed the stereo from the dash and an amplifier from the trunk, valued together at $1,050. There were no suspects seen or heard. Deputies dusted the car for fingerprints but found none. Grand Theft--March 20, on Bankmill Road. The victim reported that a rifle was stolen from his attic some time in the last four years. The rifle, valued at $1,050, was a gift from a deceased relative. The victim reported that the rifle was not registered, and he was unable to supply deputies with the serial number, any suspects or leads.
