Two Saratoga residents are among the United Way of Santa Clara County campaign "Dream Team," a group of seven co-chairpersons who will work with campaign Chairman E. Joseph Zemke, president and CEO of Amdahl Corp., in leading the county's largest annual fundraising drive.
Michael E. Fox Sr., president of M.E. Fox and Co., and Yosh Uchida, president of Uchida Enterprises, both of Saratoga, join other team members: Seiichi Aratani, president and CEO of OKL Semiconductor; Amy Beth Dean, business manager and CEO, South Bay AFL-CIO Labor Council; Jay Harris, chairman and publisher of theSan Jose Mercury News; Ivonne Montes de Oca, president of the Pinnacle Co.; and Dr. Rose Y. L. Tseng, chancellor of the West Valley/Mission Community College District.
The annual United Way campaign raises more than $20 million through workplace campaigns. It benefits more than 100 nonprofit health and human service agencies throughout Santa Clara County.
