Michael and Tracy Shields of Saratoga announce the engagement of their daughter, Caroline Jane Shields, to Michael Risolia, son of Dolores Risolia of Fremont and the late Francis Risolia.
The bride-to-be is a graduate of Saratoga High School and the University of San Diego. She is a planner for Valin Corporation in Sunnyvale.
Her fiancé is a graduate of Mission San Jose High School and California State University, Hayward. He is a key accounts specialist for Valin Corporation in Sunnyvale.
They plan a 2001 wedding.
