Mock crash teaches dangers of drunk driving

Library expansion funding planned



Photograph by George Sakkestad Community reaches its goal Small wonder there are broad smiles these days at the Southwest YMCA. Thanks to the recent community fundraising effort, 350 youngsters from low-income families in the area will be able to attend Y camp this summer. Local volunteers participated in the fundraiser which kicked off with a dinner Feb. 2 and concluded March 31 with the announcement that the campaign had succeeded in reaching its goal of $151,999.
