Sheriff's Report

Burglary--April 4, 8:35 p.m. to 12:13 a.m., at the golf course at 21900 Prospect Road. Unknown juveniles entered the club by cutting the lock on a sliding door. The suspects took five golf carts and drove them around on the golf course. The amount of damage to the course is not yet known. The suspects then drove off the course via a maintenance gate and abandoned the carts at the intersection of Parker Ranch and Vista Arroyo.

Vehicle burglary--April 4, 1:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., on Kenosha Court. The victim reported finding his car, parked in the drive-way of his residence, with the right rear window smashed and the hood opened. The battery cables were cut and the battery was missing. The amount of damage is estimated at $150. No suspects were seen or heard.

Burglary--April 2, 7 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., on Brookview Drive. An unknown suspect entered the victim's residence through an unlocked sliding door. Once inside, the suspect ransacked the master bedroom and china cabinet, dumped out dresser drawers onto the bed and rifled drawers in the office. The value of stolen or damaged items is currently unknown.

Auto burglary--April 1, 6 p.m. to 8 a.m., on Via Escuela Drive. An unknown suspect smashed the left rear window of the victim's van, which was parked in front of his residence. The suspect removed a gym bag containing a track suit, though the radio and other items were not disturbed. Deputies removed fingerprints.

Vehicle burglary--April 1, 9:30 p.m. to 7 a.m., on Glen Brae. An unknown suspect smashed the window of the victim's car, parked in front of his house. The suspect removed a briefcase, which was later found by a third party and turned in to the Sheriff's Department. There were no fingerprints taken and no witnesses.

Theft/grand theft--March 31, on Oak Leaf Court. The victim reported turning her car over to the suspect in September with a verbal agreement that the suspect would fix the car, sell it and split the proceeds with the victim. The victim reported seeing the car on March 30 with the license plates and vehicle identification number unchanged. The victim has been unable to contact the suspect.

Vandalism--March 31, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saratoga Circle. The victim reported his mailbox had been pried open. The victim's mailbox was located in a bank of eight others, though no other mailboxes were vandalized.
