Alex Lux raced to wins in the 200 and 400 meters, but the Saratoga boys' track team dropped a 75-52 decision to Los Altos recently.
Lux took the 200 in 22.7 and the 400 in 51.2 to lead the Saratoga effort on the track, but the Falcons couldn't manage a win in the field in the loss to the Eagles.
Brent Colman sprinted to a first in the 100 in 10.8, and Chad Allen took the 300-meter intermediate hurdles in 41.6. The two teamed with Daniel Miner and Sean Hanley for a first in the 400-meter relay in 44.7.
Nima Nafei came through with a win in the 800 meters in 2:09.7 and joined with Tristan Hoare, Eric Yu and David Wilson for a victory in the mile relay in 3:51.5.
Saratoga won seven of the 10 events contested on the track but were blanked in the field.
The Saratoga girls also lost to Los Altos, falling 98-28. Jenny Yoo was first in the two-mile in 13:41.6, Taylor Teerlink was a winner in the 300 low hurdles in 50.3, and Jennifer Kellogg won the mile in 5:58.6 for Saratoga's only victories of the day.
