Explode the Myths on Aging workshop
'Explode the Myths on Aging" is the title of a workshop to be held at Our Lady of Fatima Villa, 20400 Saratoga-Los Gatos Rd., on Saturday, April 20 from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Issues dealing with health care, housing and recreation will be explored. The workshop is sponsored by Information and Referral Services Inc., Our Lady of Fatima Villa, Odd Fellows Home and the Saratoga Area Senior Coordinating Council.
A $10 registration fee covers workshop cost and continental breakfast.
AAUW April meeting
Los Gatos-Saratoga Branch of the American Association of University Women holds a potluck luncheon at 11 a.m. April 20 at the Rinconada Hills Clubhouse, 100 Avenida Del Sol, Los Gatos.
Kathleen M. Quinlan, recipient of the AAUW Educational Foundation Fellowship at Stanford University, will give a talk on teaching activities at the university.
The 1996 local scholarship recipients from West Valley College also will speak. They are Chung Nguyen and Thuyhuong Nguyen, (no relation) both re-entry students.
