Early fall soccer signups April 20
The Saratoga American Youth Soccer Organization will hold early signups for the fall season on April 20, 9 a.m.-1 p.m. at Argonaut School. First-time registrants must provide a birth certificate. There is a $50 per player discount for early registration.
Fall football signups April 20
The Campbell-Saratoga Youth Football organization will hold signups for the 1996 fall season on April 20, 10 a.m.-2 p.m. at the Campbell Community Center and at John D. Morgan Park. Signups will be accepted for both football players and cheerleaders, and the organization is also looking for coaches.

Summer basketball
A summer basketball clinic hosted by Saratoga girls' varsity basketball coach Bret Yeilding will be held June 17-July 25 in the Saratoga gym.
The clinic runs from 1-3 p.m., Mondays through Thursdays, and is open to girls in the seventh through 12th grades. The cost is $125 per player, and preregistration is advised since space is limited.

Run to the Stars
The annual Run to the Stars returns to Christa McAuliffe Elementary School in Saratoga on April 28. The 3K race begins at 8:30 a.m. with the 8K race to begin at 9 a.m. The registration fee is $14 by April 19 ($9 for each child under 17 registering with an adult), or $17 on race day. Race-day registration begins at 7 a.m. For more information, call 732-9486.
Pop Warner football fall signups April 27
The Los Gatos Pop Warner Football Association will hold final spring signups for the fall season on April 27, 10:30 a.m.-2 p.m., at the Los Gatos High School Teen Center.
Making a special appearance at the football registration will be the cheerleaders from the championship San Jose SaberCats indoor football team. The SaberCat cheerleaders will appear from noon-1 p.m., performing routines and handing out autographed pictures.
Registration that day will be for youngsters ages 8-14 interested in playing football or becoming cheerleaders in the fall. The registration fee is $85 for football and $50 for cheeerleading.
