Elementary school district set to register new students

Parents interested in enrolling their children in the Saratoga Union School District for the 2001-2002 school year may pick up registration packets from the district office at 20460 Forrest Hills Drive, between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Parents may return the packet, plus required documentation, at the district office Mondays through Fridays, between 8:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m.

The district will place new students where space is available after June 1, and will notify parents of placement by mail by July 1. If a lottery is necessary at any grade level at any of the three K-5 sites, the district will hold it the week of June 4.

A parent must provide up-to-date immunization records signed by a doctor to register a child for any grade level, K-8.

For answers to questions, parents may call Loree Ferla at 867-3424, ext. 200.
