Sheriff's Report

Petty Theft--April 12, 10 a.m., on Bellgrove Circle. An unknown suspect stole a personal check from the victim's mailbox. The suspect then made an identical copy of the check and cashed it at a San Francisco bank. The suspect is still at large.

Vehicle Tampering/Petty Theft--April 7, 10 p.m. to 6 a.m., on Anza Drive. The victim left his car unlocked in front of his house overnight. In the morning he found that a 12-pack of Old Milwaukee beer had been removed from his car. Deputies did not find fingerprints, and no one reported having seen or heard a suspect.
