Sports Tryouts, Signups

The De Anza Stealth, a boys' under-17 Class I soccer team, will hold tryouts on April 26, 4 p.m., at Saratoga High School. The team is also looking for a paid trainer. Saratoga AYSO

Saratoga AYSO is looking for adult volunteers to participate in the fall youth soccer season. Advanced registration for board members, division managers, coaches, assistant coaches and referees will be held April 25, and registration for all volunteers and sponsors will be held May 2 and 16. All registrations run from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Argonaut School, 20460 Shadow Mountain Drive.

Football Signups

The Los Gatos Pop Warner Football Association will hold football and cheerleading signups for the fall season on April 23, 6-9 p.m., at the Los Gatos High School Teen Center. Returning players can sign up on April 22, 6-9 p.m., at the Teen Center.

Youngsters ages 8-15 and living in Los Gatos, Saratoga, Campbell or Willow Glen are eligible. The registration fee is $195 for football players and $125 for cheerleaders. Youngsters signing up must provide a copy of their birth certificate, a 2x3 photo, a recent report card and a medical release.

The season begins on Aug. 1. For more information, call 270-1443.

The local Pop Warner organization is also looking for adult volunteers. For more information, call Dave Szafranski at 291-6663.

Youth Football

The Campbell-Saratoga youth football organization will hold signups on April 25, 11 a.m.-2 p.m., at Luigi's Pizza, Winchester and Budd in Campbell. Each player must provide his or her photo and original birth certificate. New coaches are also needed. For more information, call Mike Skinner at 379-2806.

Girls' Basketball Camps

A series of girls' basketball camps will be held at Santa Clara University this summer, with sessions running June 6 through July 31. For more information, call Shaunice Warr at 554-4567.
