      Sheriff's Report

      Attempted suicide--April 13, 12:45 p.m., on Miller Court. A woman called the police, reporting that a friend had called and said he was going to overdose on sleeping pills. The man said he was stressed out about college. The man was placed under 72-hour supervision.

      Petty theft--April 8, 4:20 p.m., on Saratoga-Sunnyvale Road. A man took a dolly from a business. The next day, the proprietor questioned him, and the man confessed, saying that he would return it. When he returned, the proprietor had called the police and had the man arrested.

      Forgery, petty theft--April 9, 4:20 p.m., on Rolling Hills Drive. Police apprehended several people who had ordered checks under a false identity and had written at least 11 checks.

      Vandalism--April 8, 11 p.m., on Braemar Drive. A man reported more than $500 in damages to his car, possibly caused by an orange found near the scene.

      Grand theft--April 2, 6:55 p.m., on Big Basin Way. Police responded to a call from a man who reported that his wallet was stolen from his Jeep. In his wallet were his deposits from his restaurants.

      Found human remains--April 1, 3 p.m., on Hwy. 9. Police responded to a call from a man who discovered human bones while surveying his land. The bones were found in a pile with other assorted animal bones and a wristwatch.
