Getting in the Reading Habit
Captain Bill Morrison of the Saratoga Fire District, reads from 'The Golden Egg Book' in Pam Sanderson's kindergarten class at Argonaut School as part of the school's annual Read-In on April 19. In addition to a fire captain, a sheriff's deputy, school superintendent, teachers and parents shared with the children why reading is important and how they use it in their day-to-day lives. Each speaker went into a classroom after the assembly to read a book or other material to the students.
