    Sheriff's Report

    Suspicious Circumstance--April 24, 7:30 p.m. on Country Squire Way. A resident discovered a green ski mask in front of the house. It was unknown where the mask had come from or who left it there. A sheriff's deputy checked the residence but found no evidence of an attempted entry.

    Tampering with a Vehicle--April 24, 9:40 a.m. on Hower Drive. A resident discovered their car had been broken into and ransacked but no property was taken.

    Grand Theft--April 23, 7:45 a.m. Saratoga Vista Avenue. Resident left his unlocked vehicle in the driveway overnight. In the morning he discovered over $400 in personal property had been taken.

    Grand Theft--April 24, 7:30 a.m. on Saratoga Vista Avenue. A resident discovered his car had been broken into during the night and personal property was missing.

    Grand Theft-- April 24, 7:05 a.m. on Kodiak Place. Between 8 p.m. on April 23, and 7 a.m. on April 24, unknown suspects entered three unlocked vehicles on the street and stole property. All of the vehicles were unlocked and parked in the residents' driveways. The suspect is still at large.

    Grand Theft--April 22, 7:15 a.m. on Paseo Tierra. A resident allowed a friend to borrow his firearm because he was going to sell it to him. When the resident repeatedly attempted to contact his friend to transfer the proper paperwork, calls were not returned. After almost two months the resident decided to report the gun as stolen property. There is limited information on the suspect.

    Personal ID Used--April 19, 9 p.m. on Saratoga-Los Gatos Road. Unknown suspects gained access to a resident's social security number and used it to open a credit card. The credit card has been used to make numerous purchases.

    Grand Theft--April 20, 7:20 p.m. on Austin Way. A resident was using an airless compressor and a hand truck in front of his house to stain his fence. The resident went inside his house to answer the phone and when he returned his equipment was gone.

    Grand Theft--April 19, 8:20 a.m. on Saratoga Sunnyvale Road. A Gary Fisher bicycle valued at $2,600 was stolen from a storage area.
