    Suspicious Circumstance

--April 13, 8:35 p.m., on McCulloch Drive. A resident bought her home in December 1992. In August 1998, she received a letter stating another person was claiming ownership of the property. In March 1999, the resident received a letter addressed to the other person from the county assessors office asking for proof of title. She contacted the assessors office who said she had clear title. When she came home on April 13, she found a 30-day eviction notice posted on her front door.

    Petty Theft

--April 13, 4:50 p.m., on Wolfe Road. A Saratogan placed her cellular phone down on the counter in a shopping mall for a short time. When she returned, her phone was gone. She checked with the mall security and no one had turned the phone in to lost and found. She later called and canceled her cellular phone service.

    Throwing Objects

--April 13, 4 p.m., on Highway 9. A woman said she was driving northbound on Highway 9 when she heard a loud "pop." She immediately noticed a chip on her windshield. No other cars were on the roadway around her that could have caused the damage.

    Vandalism

--April 12, 1:45 p.m., on Cox Avenue. A business owner reported that an unknown suspect spray-painted graffiti on a wall of a business complex she owns.
