Sheriff's Report

Residential Burglary/Vandalism--April 25, 10 p.m., to April 26, 9:45 a.m., on Saratoga Creek Drive. An unknown suspect or suspects entered the victim's garage through a side door and stole two mountain bikes, tools and a cellular phone. Deputies recovered no fingerprints or other information. The mountain bikes were valued at $550 each.

Burglary/Trespassing--April 25, 6:10 p.m., on Shadow Mountain Drive. Deputies were dispatched to a report of vandalism in progress at a local elementary school. When they arrived, the reporting party told them she had seen two juveniles in the kindergarten yard. Upon investigating, the deputies found that a shed had been kicked open. No suspects were seen by deputies, but deputies said the suspects are believed to be juveniles and at large.

Vandalism--April 24, 7:30 p.m. to April 25, 4 p.m., on Via Madronas Drive. The victim reported to deputies that someone had smashed his porch light with a baseball bat. The porch light was valued at $50. The victim said he did not see anyone unusual or know who might have done it. He did not offer any explanation for why he suspects the damage was done with a baseball bat.
