    Sheriff's Report

    Petty Theft of Mail/Checks--April 30, 3:15 p.m. on Terrance Avenue. The victim paid his bills and mailed the checks from his mailbox, which is across the street from his home, on April 3. The unknown suspect then took the victim's mail. The victim never knew anything was wrong until one of his creditors sent him a late notice for a bill that he had paid. He later discovered that nine more of his checks were missing. He called his bank and cancelled them.
