    Actress Janis Paige


    Photo: 'Auntie Mame' comes to Saratoga

    Janis Paige will be the special guest at the opening night performance and champagne reception of the Saratoga Drama Group's production of 'Mame' on May 12 at the Saratoga Civic Theatre, 13777 Fruitvale Ave. Paige replaced Angela Lansbury in the original Broadway production of the musical, whose music and lyrics were written by Jerry Herman. Among Paige's other theatrical credits over the years are 'The Pajama Game,' 'Here's Love' and 'Remains to be Seen.' She has also starred in many films.
