A Day in a Play

Mirror, Mirror, on the wall; who is the fairest of them all? One of the vainest questions of them all was asked again earlier this month, when the Saratoga Children's Festival Theatre performed its rendition of the classic tale Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs in the Saratoga Community Center.

The play was presented by the Saratoga Recreation Department and the Festival Theatre Ensemble, the latter of which is also known locally for its summertime Shakespeare productions.
Produced by Bruce W. De Les Dernier, and adapted and directed by Shauna Harris McGuiness--both veterans of community theater--Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs included all the familiar faces from the fairy tale, along with a few new characters and even some classic rock 'n' roll music.
