A Saratoga Home is Featured as Showcase 2000

A Saratoga home off Fruitvale Avenue is the setting for this year's San Jose Symphony Showcase 2000. The annual event--a spring favorite--offers a showcase for the creativity of top Bay Area designers.

The event began May 6 and continues until June 4. The home is open Tuesdays through Saturdays, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. It is closed Mondays except Memorial Day. Hours are noon to 5 p.m. on Sundays. Reservations are not required, and tickets, priced at $20, are available on site. Light refreshments will be available, and musical entertainment will be offered on Sundays. There will be a donation drawing, and the gift gallery will be open throughout the event.

Parking and shuttle are available at Sacred Heart Church, 13724 Saratoga Ave.

Los Gatos and Saratoga designers responsible for decorating areas of the home are Rob McCready of Saratoga Kitchens & Bath, Alexis Ulrich Designs, Los Gatos, Melody Mains Interior Design of Los Gatos and the Rose Collection of Los Gatos.

The event is a major fundraiser for the San Jose Symphony. For more information, call 408.354.0773.
