Congregation Beth David Sisterhood elects a board
Brunch on May 21 will honor them
Wendy Glasser of Saratoga will serve as president of Congregation Beth David Sisterhood. Joining her on the executive committee are Rivka Shenhav of Saratoga, executive vice president; Carrie Zeidman of Cupertino, immediate past president; Jan Ferguson and Wendy Askenas, both of San Jose, membership co-vice presidents; Monique Alexander of Sunnyvale and Susan Kaye of Saratoga, education co-vice presidents; Orna Yomtoubian of Saratoga, ways and means vice president; Eleanor Dick- man of Cupertino, treasurer; and Andrea Linder of Saratoga, recording secretary.
Also elected to the general board were JoEllen Sherman, Madelain Yafet, Alma Garcia, Debi Burdman-Deutsch, Patty Johnson, Susan Sweedler, Heidi Diamond, Sue Schwerin, Myrtle Schwartz, Karen Ceppos, Judy Gilford, Sheryl Lewis, Susan Gavens, Davida Adelberg, Seema Cicerone, Susan Desmond, Susan Levine, Susan Gavens and Karen Deloumi.
These members oversee a range of activities, including programming, social action, Jewish family living, kitchen supervision, ritual matters, the gift shop, religious school liaison, college and youth liaison and various fundraising projects.
The board and other Sisterhood volunteers will be honored at Beth David's annual Yad L'Kol brunch on May 21.
