Students, parents and teachers turned out to read and listen to works written by Argonaut Elementary School students at the school's Authors Expo. Students in grades K-5 wrote stories about sports, princesses, superheroes and friends going on adventures, as well as about worlds where trees talked and people walked on their hands. 'Underwear Town' was the title of one story, while others told of towns made of Legos and macaroni and cheese. Students wrote about animals from penguins to dragons to puppies. But children didn't just write stories. They also wrote poems and made magazines and books on how to draw designs.
