Residential burglary attempt--April 22 between 10:34 p.m. and 10:39 p.m. on Via Ranchero Drive. Unknown burglars entered the back yard through a side gate and went to the bathroom window. They cut an approximately three-inch slice in the screen at the latch and partially removed the screen.
Vandalism--April 23 between 3:30 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. on Herriman Avenue. The victim is a baseball coach at Homestead High School. He parked his car in a parking lot at Saratoga High School for a baseball game. When he returned to his vehicle, he found all four tires flat.
Residential burglary--between April 24 at 8:30 p.m. and April 25 at 6 a.m. on Brookview Drive. An unknown burglar entered an open garage and removed property.
Graffiti--April 25 between 6 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. at Quito Road and Montpere Drive at the Santa Clara County Water District Tunnel. Four people were seen spray-painting the tunnel. Three fled and one was apprehended, cited and released.
Burglary--April 30, between 4 a.m. and 4:30 a.m. on Souza Avenue. An unknown burglar entered an unlocked room and removed a carry bag that contained car keys. The burglar then unlocked the victim's car in the parking lot and removed a purse from the seat.
Petty theft--between May 2 at 6:30 p.m. and May 3 and 8:30 a.m. on Via Regina. An unknown thief entered an unlocked car an removed $200 in cash.
Grand theft--between May 2 at 7 p.m. and May 3 at 12:30 p.m. on Via Regina. The victim's motorhome was parked in the driveway unlocked. The victim found electronic equipment missing from the motorhome.
Vandalism--May 3 at 10:20 p.m. on Quito Road. An unknown person(s) placed what might have been an M-80 firecracker in the victim's mailbox, causing the box to explode.
Commercial burglary--May 4 between 12:20 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. on Big Basin Way. Someone entered a restaurant and removed a cash box from the chair in the office.
Driving under the influence arrest--May 5 at 1:15 a.m. on Quito Road and Martha Avenue. The suspect was stopped for speeding and tailgating. His breath smelled of alcohol, his eyes were bloodshot, his speech was sometimes slurred, and he swayed as he stood. After he was tested for alcohol, he was arrested.
